The introduction of Twitter lists is exciting and for me. In the past I would probably only have visited the Twitter home page maybe once a day. Since yesterday however, I’ve been back and forth between TweetDeck and twitter.com, evidence that for now, Twitter will steal back some of the traffic they’ve lost to third-party applications.
So, are you on my list? Join it here: http://twitter.com/markwmann/blog-readers.
Join any of my other lists as well while you’re at it.
What is a Twitter list you ask? Well let me explain:
1. It allows you the opportunity to filter your list of hundreds or thousands of people you are following into more specific categories.
2. A list is a great way to find people interested in similar topics (ie., web design, social entrepreneurship, denver, colorado)
3. The lists feature is one of the few added features that Twitter has introduced and one that importantly reigns traffic back to their home page for a bit away from all the third-party applications.
Let me know if you’ve started a list and would like me to join.
